There are 5 categories each for Harmony (H), Brass Band (B) and Fanfare (F). In each category a compulsory piece and a self choice piece have to be played. The performances will be judged by professional experts. The orchestras can choose in which level they want to participate. The orchestras may choose freely between the compulsory pieces of each performance level and so determine the performance level in which they participate in the concert competition. The self-choice piece must correspond at least to the chosen competition category (Level of difficulty of the compulsory piece). The compulsory piece for the category the orchestra participates in, will be sent to the orchestra as soon as it is registered definitely. The price of the compulsory piece is included in the participation fees.
