
Gilbert Tinner
Gilbert Tinner was born 1965 in St. Gallen, Switzerland. He succesfully completed the SWISS JAZZ School in Bern. His main subjects were trombone, piano, composition and arrangements. He is a trombone player in several bands like the Pepe Lienhard Big Band an he conducts the Swiss Railway windband, the Appenzell windband as well as the big band Atlantis from the eastern part of Switzerland.
Next to his work as a playing and conducting musician, he also very much likes to arrange music. His work is published at Halleonard Music Publishers. He often is invited to national- and international happpenings as a teacher, jury or to conduct workshops.
