WJMF 2028: Planning has begun
Planning for the ninth World Youth Music Festival is now ongoing, and we are already looking forward to 6–9 July 2028.
Under the motto ‘Music connects. Zurich unites the world.’, youth music groups from all over the world will once again fill the city centre with sound. Thousands of young people aged between 9 and 25 will be travelling to Zurich for the event. They will compete in categories such as concert competitions for wind ensembles and brass bands, marching bands, indoor shows and percussion, and will delight the audience with public concerts, a parade along Bahnhofstrasse and a grand opening ceremony at the Hallenstadion, amongst other events.
Save the date now: 6 to 9 July 2028.
